How To Find Us

Pottersway House Care Home is conveniently connected by both road and public transport, making it simple for loved ones to visit from nearby towns and cities.

The most direct route to get to us by public transport would be by taking either the EMR or the West Midlands Railway to Alsager station. We are 1.3 miles away from the station, so from here we would recommend getting a taxi. In total, the journey would take 40 minutes.

Alternatively, we are only an 18-minute drive from Stoke-on-Trent by car.

If you are travelling from Wrexham, it will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes and we recommend taking the following route:

  • Get the Transport for Wales train (Holyhead) from Wrexham General to Chester
  • Take the Avanti West Coast train (London Euston) from Chester to Crewe
  • Take the EMR train (Newark Castle) from Crewe to Alsager
  • Get a taxi from Alsager to Pottersway House

If you have your own car, this journey would take around an hour.

Those coming from Macclesfield should take the Stoke-on-Trent Northern Train to Kidsgrove, then change onto the EMR train going to Alsager. Our home is just under half an hour’s walk from the station, but several local taxi services can take you the rest of the way. The whole journey would take about an hour.
