Exciting New Team in Place as We Prepare to Welcome Residents

We are delighted to announce that our full leadership team is now in place, ready to bring warmth, expertise, and dedication to our care home in Church Lawton. With all heads of department having officially started on Monday, 17th February, there is a real buzz of excitement as we come together to establish our teams and create a strong, supportive ethos.

At the heart of our home is Emma Miles, our Home Manager, who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for person-centred care. Working alongside Emma is Sally Appleton, our Deputy and Clinical Lead who will ensure the highest standards of residential and nursing care for all our future residents.

Our Administrator, Dawn Byrne, is already busy ensuring everything is in place for a seamless and exciting grand opening. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Andrew Crutchley, our Head Chef, is looking forward to preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals that cater to every taste and dietary need.

Behind the scenes, Andrew Pearse, our Maintenance Operator, is making sure the home remains safe, comfortable, and welcoming, while Dianne Phillips, our Head Housekeeper, is focused on maintaining a clean, cosy environment for all. Finally, Leanne Botha, our Lifestyle Lead, is already planning a vibrant programme of activities and social events to ensure residents can live life to the fullest.

Bringing together a strong leadership team is an essential step in establishing the culture and ethos of our home. We are committed to creating a warm and homely environment where residents feel valued, supported, and truly at home. We are also excited to expand our team with both carers and nurses, who will become invaluable members of our Pottersway House family.

Now that our leadership team is in place, we are eagerly looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming our very first residents.
