Our Activities and Clubs Are Taking Off!

Pottersway House has recently seen a wonderful sense of togetherness as residents enjoy a growing range of activities and clubs within the home. What began as a few small group ideas has quickly developed into something very special, with residents coming together to share hobbies, learn new skills and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The introduction of several regular clubs has created new opportunities for residents to stay active, creative and socially connected. One of the most popular additions has been the Baking Club. The smell of freshly baked treats now regularly fills the home as residents gather in the kitchen to mix, measure and share their favourite recipes. For many, baking brings back fond memories of cooking for family and friends, and it has been lovely to see those traditions shared with others around the table.

The Gardening Club has also begun to flourish. Residents have been enjoying time outdoors, getting their hands in the soil and helping to care for the plants and flowers that brighten the grounds of Pottersway House. Gardening is a gentle and calming activity that many residents find both rewarding and relaxing. Watching our private gardens develop over time gives everyone a real sense of pride in what they have created together.

For those who enjoy keeping active, the Exercise Club has brought plenty of positive energy into our home. Gentle movement sessions help residents maintain mobility and strength while also encouraging their confidence and well-being. Most importantly, these sessions are fun and inclusive, with everyone encouraged to take part at their own pace.

What has been most heartwarming for the team at Pottersway House is seeing the friendships that are forming through these clubs. Residents are supporting one another, sharing stories and building a real sense of community within the home. It is clear that these activities are about much more than hobbies. They are about connection and creating meaningful moments together.

If you would like to learn more about life at Pottersway House or arrange a visit to see the warm and welcoming community for yourself, we would be delighted to hear from you.
