Our Recent Christmas Fair!

The start of the festive season was marked with real warmth at Pottersway House as residents, families, friends and members of the local community gathered for our Christmas Fair. Our home was filled with the gentle glow of fairy lights and the comforting scent of mulled wine, creating a cosy atmosphere full of fun.
There was plenty for everybody to enjoy throughout the day. Festive games brought out a lovely sense of friendly competition and encouraged residents and visitors to join in at their own pace. Our craft tables quickly became a hive of activity as families sat together helping residents create decorations and small keepsakes. These moments felt especially meaningful as they allowed residents and loved ones to share memories and conversation while making something to take home.
The raffle was a favourite with many and created a real buzz as the prizes were announced. Residents were delighted to see friends and family winning treats. Of course, it would not have been a Christmas Fair without seasonal treats and the kitchen team truly made the day feel special. The mulled wine and mince pies were warm and were enjoyed by all. Many residents shared stories of Christmas traditions from years gone by, bringing thoughtful reflection alongside all the fun.

Seeing our home full of visitors brought a sense of connection that everyone appreciated. These shared experiences help strengthen the bonds between residents, loved ones and the team who work so hard to make Pottersway House feel like home.
As we continue into the festive season, we look forward to creating more moments like this that bring comfort, joy and companionship to our residents.
